TYPE O NEGATIVE TALKS JAIL AND FAMILY BETRAYAL, WANTED DEATH

Type O Negative has released their new album, Dead Again, and it's the first CD released on SPV Records and the first since vocalist/bassist Peter Steele was released from jail. Peter Steele says 'Dead Again' is a very personal album, and he relates to it on many levels.

Dead Again's song "Tripping A Blind Man" is a diatribe on how the six-foot-eight singer felt when his own family decided what was in his best interest, which turned out to be jail, rehab, and the psychiatric ward.

Type O Negative is gearing up for a tour of Europe with dates scheduled through July 7. For a complete list of festival and headline dates, please visit Typeonegative.net. Dead Again debuted at Number 27 on the Billboard 200 album charts upon its release.
